Règlement intérieur du Cimetière Protestant Français,

Rue de Damas (Sodeco) à Beyrouth (Liban)

Nous, Comité de Gestion du Cimetière Protestant Français de Beyrouth,

Vu la délibération n°01 adoptée le 15 mai 2016 et portant règlement du cimetière sis Rue de Damas ;
Vu la délibération n°02 du 15 mai 2016 fixant les différents tarifs (valable 3 ans) et reconduite à partir du 04 novembre 2019 ;                                                Vu la délibération n°03 du 04/11/2019 fixant le tarif des emplacements en colombarium (valable 3 ans) ;
Vu la demande en concession d’emplacement dans le CIMETIERE PROTESTANT FRANCAIS.

Article 1er. Le présent règlement est applicable au “Cimetière protestant français” situé dans le quartier SODECO, rue de Damas à Beyrouth.

Article 2. Le cimetière est affecté à la sépulture des personnes attachées aux Églises protestantes française et allemande de Beyrouth, décédées au Liban, quel que soit leur domicile ou leur nationalité.

Article 3. En conformité avec la loi libanaise, les concessions sont accordées pour une durée égale à la vie du titulaire, son conjoint et celle de ses enfants.

Article 4. Si à l’issue du délai de 2 ans après le terme de la concession, celle-ci n’a pas été entretenue, ni la cotisation payée, les descendants disposent d’un délai de 3 mois pour reprendre les monuments et articles funéraires placés sur la tombe.

Article 5. Les concessions ne sont accordées qu’à une seule personne. Elles ne valent pas acte de vente et n’emportent pas un droit de propriété en faveur du concessionnaire, mais seulement un droit de jouissance et d’usage avec affectation spéciale en faveur du titulaire et de sa famille, ou de toute personne qu’il aura expressément désignée. Elles ne peuvent donc faire l’objet de commerce ou d’une quelconque opération spéculative.

Article 6. Après deux générations, si la descendance souhaite conserver le bénéfice de la concession familiale, elle doit en renouveler l’achat et s’engager au respect du présent règlement.

Article 7. Dimension de la concession :
– longueur : 2 mètres ; largeur : 1 mètre ;
– profondeur maximum de 3 m et d’une hauteur maximale de 0.2 m au dessus du sol ;
– Nombre de cercueils : maximum 3.

Article 8. Cette concession est faite moyennant la somme de :

  • 3.000 USD  pour un cercueil ;
  • 3.500 USD pour deux cercueils ;
  • 4.000 USD  pour trois cercueils.

Attention : Le prix de la concession ne comprend pas les travaux de fossoyeur.

En cas d’incinération, il est prévu un lieu de dépôt des urnes moyennant une somme de :

  • 1.000 USD pour une concession pouvant recueillir une urne.

Le paiement sera versé par le concessionnaire à l’Eglise Protestante Française de Beyrouth.

Article 9. Le concessionnaire s’engage à s’acquitter d’un ‘forfait entretien cimetière’ annuel d’un montant de : 120 USD.

Article 10. Toute réalisation particulière (statues, mausolée, constructions particulières) requiert une demande d’autorisation auprès du comité de gestion.

Article 11. Les épitaphes sur les pierres tombales peuvent être écrites dans la langue choisie par la famille.

Article 12. Le concessionnaire devra se soumettre aux dispositions du présent règlement. Il veillera notamment au bon entretien de l’espace concédé. Dans tous les cas, en présence d’un monument ou non, les méthodes de travail et les produits éventuellement utilisés devront être respectueux de l?environnement. Enfin, il lui appartiendra également d’informer le Comité de gestion de tout changement de domicile.

Given deliberation n ° 01 adopted on May 15, 2016 and bearing on the settlement of the cemetery on Rue de Damas;

Given deliberation n ° 02 of May 15, 2016 setting the different rates (valid for 3 years) and renewed from November 04, 2019;

Given deliberation n ° 03 of 04/11/2019 setting the price for colombarium pitches (valid for 3 years);

In view of the request for a site concession in the FRENCH PROTESTANT CEMETERY.

Article 1. The present regulations are applicable to the “French Protestant Cemetery” located in the SODECO district, rue de Damas in Beirut.

This present regulation is applicable to the French Protestant Cemetery located in the quarter SODECO, Damas road, Beirut

Article 2. The cemetery is used for the burial of persons attached to the French and German Protestant Churches of Beirut, who have died in Lebanon, whatever their domicile or nationality.

Article 3. In accordance with Lebanese law, concessions are granted for a period equal to the life of the holder, his spouse and that of his children .

Article 4. If at the end of the period of 2 years after the end of the concession, it has not been maintained, nor the subscription paid, the descendants have a period of 3 months to take back the monuments and funeral articles placed on the tomb.

Article 5. Concessions are only granted to one person. They do not constitute an act of sale and do not carry a right of property in favor of the concessionaire, but only a right of use and use with special allocation in favor of the holder and his family, or any person he will have expressly designated. They cannot therefore be the subject of trade or any speculative transaction.

Article 6. After two generations, if the descendants wish to retain the benefit of the family concession, they must renew the purchase and undertake to comply with these regulations.

Article 7. Size of the concession:

The dimensions of the concession:  

– length: 2 meters; width: 1 meter;

– maximum depth of 3 meter and a maximum height of 0.2 m above the soil;

– Number of coffins: maximum 3.

Article 8. Each concession is made again the sum of:

  • 3.000 USD for a coffin;
  • 3,500 USD for two coffins;
  • 4,000 USD for three coffins.

Please note: The price of the concession does not include the work of the gravedigger.

In the case of cremation, a place for depositing urns is provided for a sum of:

  • 1,000 USD for a concession that can collect an urn.

Payment will be made by the concessionaire to the French Protestant Church in Beirut.

Article 9. The concessionaire undertakes to pay an annual ‘cemetery maintenance package’ in the amount of: 120 USD.

Article 10. Any particular achievement (statues, mausoleum, particular constructions) requires an authorization request from the management committee.

Article 11. The epitaphs on the tombstones can be written in the language chosen by the family.

Article 12. The concessionaire must submit to the provisions of these regulations. He will in particular ensure the proper maintenance of the space conceded. In all cases, whether or not a monument is present, the working methods and the products that may be used must be respectful of the environment. Finally, he will also be responsible for informing the Management Committee of any change of domicile.
